Preston and Reed start school! K5 and Preschool

Preston and Reed start both school on August 25th. Preston started Kindergarten at Cherry Hills Village Elementary (K5) and
Reed started Preschool at First Plymouth. What an emotional day! It started at 7:15 at the bus stop where Preston climbed on the for the first time. Then we raced over to the school to take pictures of him getting off the bus and meeting his friends.

Preston getting off the bus where he meets his friends, David, Gunnar, Jack and Trey! Preston who is not a shy kid by any means clung to my leg and said "mommy, I think this school is too big". Preston is sitting with his new Teacher, Ms. Barcsh. Later, at 9:00 AM we raced over to First Plymouth where Reed started his first day. Reed was so excited. He said "Goodbye mommy! I am at school now"... Reed is sitting next to his Preschool teacher, Ms. Tye.

Preston came home on cloud nine! He went on and on about how much school was!

Jason and Megan marry on August 23rd

Jason and Megan have a wonderful wedding in Vail where the boys were both ring bearers. It was a perfect evening. Reed screamed the whole way down the isle because he caught my eye just before I walked down. When he approached the end he ran up to me still crying and said "mommy!". Poor little thing. Afterwards he wanted to do it again!

Ed gave an amazing toast to the happy new couple reminding them that everyone in the room represented a "thread" to their success in marriage.
Mom and her three sisters enjoyed seeing one another.

Guernsey Lake with the Toney's and the Digby's

The weekend of August 16th we headed for Guernsey lake in the rain! We lived large as we
enjoyed the Digby Bus where we got to watch the Olympics! Preston fished and all the kids played soccer.

Buckhorn Exchange

Daddy is back home and off to Buckhorn Exchange - started in 1893. They even have pictures of our ancesters - The Blackfeet Indians on the wall! We are standing in front of a real old Calistoga wagon.

White Fence Farms

With Daddy gone, Grandma Bear and the boys and I traveled to White Fence Farms. We went for our first ride in a wagon pulled by a BIG Belgium horse. Reed was fascinated by the horse! Later we watched a pull scratch his head on the fence.
